Dysport injections are safe for everyone. The only safety index precautions for Dysport Injections are an allergy to cow’s milk protein, and people with health histories of neuromuscular dysfunction.
Dysport is injected into certain muscle groups which make up an area. When we inject Dysport, we are targeting a specific muscle, with that muscle’s placement and function in mind.
The most common areas are your forehead (frontalis muscle), which is responsible for your forehead elevating, creating visible creases and wrinkles. The “11’s” area (glabellar complex), which is a group of 3 muscles that are made to depress eyebrows inward. And crow’s feet (orbicularis oculi), which is a round muscle surrounding your eyes, responsible for lines around the eyes formed when you smile.
Dysport and Botox have the same active ingredients and are used to achieve the same desired results. Botox shows results in 7 to 10 days, with results lasting 3 months. Dysport shows results in 2 to 5 days, with results lasting up to 4 months.
